Shift 2025
April 22 - 25
St Stephen’s youth ministry seeks to support young people to be disciples of Jesus who will be sent by him to make more disciples (John 15:8; Matt 28:19). We run a variety of programs (weekly youth group, camps, conferences and special events) aimed at seeing young people in years 5-12 grow as disciples of Jesus.
Our youth leadership team provide care, mentorship and discipleship for our large youth community. The whole church rejoices to see a new generation stepping forward in faith, hope and love for Jesus.
Below is a snapshot of our weekly ministries for youth.
7:30-9:30 pm
Impact is a key community for our youth ministry. High Schoolers gather together to share in fun activities, build meaningful relationships and explore matters of faith. Impact is a celebration of all that Jesus has done and is doing among young people in our area.
Most nights have an activity to kick the night off, then an all in time where we pray, read the Bible and have a 15-minute Bible Talk; after this, we break into small groups based on year group and gender to encourage and support each other and further explore the ideas raised in the talk.
