This weekend we commence a new series looking at some of the vital signs of a healthy and flourishing church. First and foremost we must be a community of people who recognise the reality that Jesus Christ is Lord. This must shape our lives and our ministries.
As we move beyond the Garden of Eden we see first-hand the impact of sin in the world. Yet against the bleakness of death, shines the light of the good news of Jesus Christ.
As Jesus dies on the cross he utters the words, “it is finished”. His death is the culmination of many Old Testament prophecies, and shows that he is truly God’s chosen King.
1 Corinthians 13:1-13
As God has gifted his people with many gifts, we are reminded that they are of no purpose if they are not used to serve with humility and love.
Paul encourages the Christians at Philippi to actively live out their faith in Jesus. He gives practice examples of how this might take place.
