This week in Matthew’s gospel we see Jesus begin his public ministry, as he calls people to repent and follow him. How should we respond?
In this next section of Matthew’s gospel we learn of the events surrounding Jesus’ baptism as well as his temptation in the wilderness. Through this we see that Jesus chooses the cross instead of the crown.
