About LiT
LiT is an awesome week where you will meet fantastic friends and have a brilliant time, but it’s also a challenging week. The conference will push you to think about your faith and how you can use your gifts for the glory of God. The whole week is about growing you as a Christian, as a leader, and as a servant of Jesus and his people.
Our theme this year is ‘Our Crucified King’ from the Gospel of John. The Gospel according to John is unlike the other three gospels. Matthew, Mark and Luke are what we call the synoptic Gospels, they share a lot of the same stories about Jesus’ life. John stands a little bit apart, still following the life of Jesus and consistent with the other three Gospels.
If you love Jesus and are passionate about serving him then LiT is definitely for you!
What happens on LiT?
Each day on LiT we will spend time thinking about Christian leadership as we hear talks from the Gospel of John. You will also be in a ‘connect group’ with young people from other churches as you are trained in how to serve as a junior leader. There’s also workshops with heaps of practical tips, as well as plenty of time to hang out and have lots of fun together.
